What is this document and who is it for?
This document is intended to provide you with important information about how we process your personal data. This includes details of what personal data we hold, how we store it, what we do with it, why we hold it and how long we hold it for.
The contents of this document apply to both clients and prospective clients of Hot House Blinds Ltd.
In order to provide you with the measure, supply and install service of blinds and curtains, along with product warranty, we hold customers names, address, telephone and email. We use this information to be able to identify you and your order history should it be needed.
We hold this data on a cloud-based software system 'Dropbox', along with our Outlook email systems, information stored locally on our computers and, in some instances, as physical printouts stored at our premises.

Who we can share your information with
We may share your information with other companies we work in partnership with, i.e. a Supplier who may make a direct delivery to your address.
How long we'll keep your information
We will keep your information for as long as you have a relationship with us. After it ends we will keep it where we may need it for our legitimate purpose, eg to help us to respond to queries or complaints, or for other reasons eg responding to requests from regulators.
HM Revenue & Customs requires us to keep data for up to 7 years.
